Sound In Silence is happy to announce the return of JARR, presenting their new album All These Past Lives.

JARR is the ongoing collaboration between Jon Attwood (JA / Yellow6) and Ray Robinson (RR / Wodwo).

In their collaborations, they reimagine and rearrange elements of each other's work, often blending existing components with fresh elements to craft something entirely new and (hopefully) innovative.

Successful collaboration necessitates overcoming various hurdles, including creative disparities, egos, and the risk of burnout. Surmounting these obstacles demands resilience, compromise, and a dedication to personal and collective development as a duo.

Moreover, they find that their emotions heavily influence the music they create. The same notes can yield different compositions based on their mood or external circumstances at the time of creation. Consequently, they believe that their feelings are subtly woven into the fabric of their music, serving as a source of inspiration that enriches the creative process.

All These Past Lives is JARR’s fourth full-length album, and their third for Sound In Silence, following last year’s album 42º. Their new album is made up of nine compositions, carefully mastered by George Mastrokostas (Absent Without Leave), with a total duration of 62 minutes and built around slow and contemplative reverbed guitar loops, walls of ambient textures, delayed guitar melodies, minimal post-rock ambience and washes of distorted shoegazing drones.

This is a limited edition of 200 handmade and hand-numbered collectible copies. It is packaged in a lovely hand-stamped 127mm x 127mm 285 gsm light yellow-cream recycled cardboard envelope with the front cover image printed on a polaroid style photo paper and an insert sheet containing tracklist and information printed on a 120 gsm olive yellow recycled cardboard. It also comes bundled with a download code coupon and a Sound In Silence card.
